Emerald Rockstar is composed of heavy metal and crystal elements. The focal point is an Weiss, faceted, aurora borealis rhinestone star broach. Albert Weiss is best known for his use of smoky rhinestones. He was one of the first to use Swarovski’s polychromatic aurora borealis crystals, which were created with Dior in the 1950's. This flawless pendant is affixed to a vintage, oxidized, silver chain link tassel belt embellished with Swarovski, emerald, gemstones. The chain can be worn countless ways. There is a large lobster clasp that clips anywhere on the chain as well as a heavy metal toggle clasp on the other end. Two ivory tusks and a suede tassel add an edgy modern element to this elegant creation. It can be worn long, doubled, tripled, as a choker or asymmetrically. This piece is fabulous as a stand alone or layered with other chains. It is easily one of my favorites. Dare to be bold. Let your jewelry BE the outfit.
