Thierry Mugler was known for his avant-garde and architectural, yet hyper-feminine designs, and this 1990s skirt suit is no exception. Crafted from a metallic royal blue wool silk blend, this suit is fabulous worn together, but the individual pieces can also be worn on their own. The jacket features a v neckline with a collar and eye-catching silver metal, rhinestone encrusted faux buttons (snap closures). The jacket is fitted through the waist and with an architectural peplum like shape at the hips with the pocket. Tuip hem and small 2" slits at each wrist. Skirt is a classic high waisted pencil skirt. Expert tailoring , the way the seams have been designed throughout the suit is very flattering. Excellent vintage condition. Made in France.
