• Inspired by a 1929 Vionnet wedding gown. A more traditional take on the avant garde Vionnet design with the same elongated lines, V-shapes and epic train. The Vionnet original is held in The Costume Institute collection of The Metropolitian Museum of Art
• Dramatic bell sleeves and five foot long train create the iconic elongated silhouette
• Attached wrap belt
• V-shaped bodice inset adds to the elegant long lines
• Delicate pleating shapes the back of the neckline
• The simple high collar becomes a dramatic scarf that drapes elegantly down the back of the gown. It can be tied different ways

• Excellent condition with no damage, staining or alterations. The only note is a small abrasion on the front of one hip, perhaps from the original bride's bouquet. Freshly cleaned and ready to wear
